Q235, A53 galvanized square tube

A galvanized square tube is a hollow structural section made from steel that has been coated with a layer of zinc to protect it from corrosion. The process of galvanization involves immersing the steel in molten zinc, which forms a robust barrier against moisture and environmental elements. This protective coating ensures that the steel remains intact and functional, even in harsh conditions.

    Classification of electrogalvanized pipes

    .Classification by galvanizing method:
Hot-dip galvanized square tube: The square tube is galvanized by immersing it in molten zinc liquid. It has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for outdoor and harsh environments.
Electro-galvanized square tube: A layer of zinc is plated on the surface of the square tube by electrolysis. The corrosion resistance is relatively low and it is suitable for indoor environments.
    .Classification by wall thickness:
Thin-wall galvanized square tube: The wall thickness is generally between 1.0mm and 3.0mm, suitable for light structures and furniture manufacturing.
Thick-wall galvanized square tube: The wall thickness is generally above 3.0mm, suitable for load-bearing structures and heavy equipment.
    .Classification by purpose:
Galvanized square tube for construction: used for building structures, frames, etc.
Galvanized Square Tube for Furniture: Used to make various metal furniture.
Galvanized square tube for machinery: used for structural parts of mechanical equipment.
    .Classification by surface treatment:
Ordinary galvanized square tube: The surface is ordinary galvanized.
Plastic-sprayed galvanized square tube: Spray plastic on the surface of the galvanized square tube to increase its beauty and corrosion resistance.

    Advantages

.Excellent anti-corrosion performance: The galvanized layer can effectively prevent oxidation and corrosion, extend the service life of the square tube, and is particularly suitable for use in humid or harsh environments.
.High strength: Galvanized square tubes are usually made of high-quality steel, have good strength and load-bearing capacity, and are suitable for load-bearing structures.
.Good processing performance: Galvanized square tubes are easy to cut, weld and process, and can be customized as needed to meet different engineering needs.
.Aesthetics: The galvanized square tube has a smooth surface and a neat appearance, which is suitable for occasions that require appearance, such as furniture and decorative structures.
.Economical: Although the initial cost of galvanized square tubes may be higher than ordinary square tubes, due to their corrosion resistance and durability, maintenance and replacement costs can be reduced in long-term use.
.Environmental protection: The production and use of galvanized square tubes are relatively environmentally friendly, the recycling rate of zinc is high, and it meets the requirements of sustainable development.
.Diversity: Galvanized square tubes are available in a variety of specifications and sizes to meet the needs of different projects.

    Production process

    .Raw material preparation:
Select high-quality hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel strips as raw materials, ensuring that their chemical composition and physical properties meet the standards.
    .Cutting and forming:
The steel strip is cut into strips of a certain width and then rolled into the shape of a square tube by a forming machine. During the forming process, the edges of the steel strip are pressed together.
    .Welding:
Use high frequency welding or other welding processes to weld the edges of the square tube together to form a complete square tube. After welding, cooling treatment is required.
    .Cooling and straightening:
After the welded square tube is cooled, it is straightened to ensure the straightness and dimensional accuracy of the square tube.
    .Cutting:
Cut the formed square tube into required lengths, usually customized according to customer requirements.
    .Surface treatment:
Clean the cut square tubes to remove oil and oxides on the surface to ensure the adhesion of the galvanized layer.
    .Galvanized:
The cleaned square tube is immersed in molten zinc liquid for hot dip galvanizing, or galvanized by electroplating. The thickness and uniformity of the galvanized layer will affect the corrosion resistance of the square tube.
    .Cooling and Inspection:
After cooling, the galvanized square tube is subjected to quality inspection, including appearance, size, galvanized layer thickness, etc., to ensure that the product meets the standards.
    .Packaging and Shipping:
Qualified galvanized square tubes are packaged and ready to be shipped to customers.
