    Production process

    Raw material preparation: According to product requirements, select and purchase 316 stainless steel round steel or tube billets that meet the standards, check the material certificate, chemical composition, mechanical properties, etc. of the materials to ensure the quality of the raw materials. At the same time, check the appearance quality of the tube billets inside and outside to avoid defects such as cracks and interlayers.
    Tube cutting: Cut off the head and tail of the tube billet. The cut part will become waste. This operation is to ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of both ends of the steel pipe.
    Pickling and degreasing: Remove the iron oxide scale produced by high-temperature heating on the surface of the steel pipe, as well as possible impurities such as oil stains, so that the surface of the steel pipe meets the production and finished product requirements. Acid is generally used Pickling is performed, and the acid used in engineering is usually mixed acid (HNO₃+HF).
    Inspection and grinding: After pickling, the surface quality problems of the tube blank will be more clearly revealed. It is necessary to inspect and grind the cracks, interlayers, and wall deviation defects of the steel pipe to remove the unfavorable defects and ensure the quality of the steel pipe.
    Lubrication and drying: Before cold drawing, in order to prevent direct friction between the steel pipe metal and the tube drawing die metal, a layer of lubricant prepared by high-temperature nano-grease and lime is applied to the inner and outer surfaces of the steel pipe, and then dried to form an isolation layer.
    Cold drawing (rolling):
    Cold rolling: The cold rolling process of stainless steel pipes does not require lubrication and drying procedures. Three and a half outer dies are used to form a full circle to control the outer diameter, and an inner lining core rod controls the inner diameter accuracy of the pipe. The mold moves back and forth to push the feed, so that the steel pipe is deformed to the required specifications. It is suitable for the production of conventional steel pipes with a diameter of ¢42mm-¢219mm.
    Cold drawing: The tube blank is placed on a long mandrel, and then pulled through the tube drawing die together with the long mandrel. The steel tube is cold drawn in the annular hole formed by the mandrel and the die hole through a single-chain or double-chain cold drawing machine with a pulling force of 5-100 tons, thereby reducing the diameter and compressing the wall thickness of the steel tube. Small-caliber stainless steel tubes may need to go through several cold drawing processes, and each time they must be treated with ash lubrication, pickling and annealing.
    Solution treatment: After cold drawing (rolling), the steel pipe will produce metal processing hardening. Solution treatment can restore its broken grains and adjust the mechanical properties of the finished steel pipe to meet the use requirements.
    Straightening: Since stainless steel pipes may bend after cold drawing and solution treatment, they need to be straightened by a straightener to meet the straightness requirements of the steel pipe.
    Pickling and degreasing again: The iron oxide scale produced by high-temperature heating on the surface of the steel pipe after solution treatment is removed again to further improve the surface quality of the steel pipe and meet the finished product requirements of the steel pipe.
    Finished product inspection: Comprehensive inspection of the dimensional accuracy, surface quality, mechanical properties, etc. of the steel pipe, including checking whether the outer diameter, wall thickness, length, straightness, surface roughness, etc. of the steel pipe meet the standard requirements, and non-destructive testing, such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, etc., is carried out to ensure that there are no defects inside the steel pipe.
    Marking, weighing, packaging and storage: The qualified steel pipes are marked, indicating the product specifications, materials, manufacturers and other information, and then weighed and packaged, stored in a dry and ventilated warehouse, waiting for delivery.
